Here is chatper 1 of my story...
"Kayla Johnson here's your report card."
Said my house group teacher and handed
her report card. 'Gee I wish I didn't
have to see what I got for each subject.'
I thought as I opened it. "Wow all A+'s
nice one Kayla." Brooke said as she stood
beside me. "Thanks, what did you get?" I
asked. "Well... for English I got a B-,
Maths C+, Science A-, HPE A+ like always,
Business C- and IT I got an A." Brooke
told me. "That's great at least you
didn't fail in anything." I reassured
her. "Thanks but my parents are going to
go crazy, mum said if I get anything
lower than a C in anything she won't let
go to the movies to see the Spirit Love
with you." Brooke said sadly. "Oh about
that I can't I have to work and I have to
go over to mum's friend's place to baby-
sit her two girls." I replied. "Oh ok
well that's good news for me I really
didn't want to see that movie anyway.
Crap I wasn't meant to say that aloud."
Brooke said with her head in her hands
waiting for me to hit her. "I didn't want
to see it either." I said laughing. "Well
I better head off to Drama don't want to
miss what everyone saying to Mrs Howe,
see you later." I said walking off. "Bye,
have fun." Brooke yelled. "I will bye. I
yelled back waving. 'I wonder if anyone
else got an A+.' I thought to myself.
Once I got there everyone was standing
around Mrs Howe so I walked up and
asked "Morning Mrs Howe, can I ask how
many people got A+'s out of this
class?" "Good morning Kayla and to answer
your question only two got A+'s." Mrs
Howe informed me. 'So I'm not alone,
cool.' I thought. "And which two are
they?" I asked. "You Kayla and Brendon
Kingston." Said Mrs Howe. 'Wow that's so
cool.' I thought. "Alright, alright since
it's the last day lets play a game, Space
jump." Mrs Howe said to us and we started
to play the game. "Kayla, you and Brendon
have to make up a story involving a party
and some dancing." Mrs Howe said and
Brendan and I nodded and got onto the
stage. "Do we just improvise or do we
plan it?" I asked. "You both improvise."
Mrs Howe said and we both nodded and
started off stage. I walked in stage
right, he was already was on stage
standing in the middle. I nodded, trying
to make it like I was talking to people,
suddenly I ran into Brendon. "Oh I'm so
sorry." I said. "Don't be I wasn't
looking to see you anyway." Brendon said
helping me up. "I'm Kayla Johnson." I
said as I got up. "I'm Brendon Kingston,
would you like to dance with me?" He
asked. 'Remember that this is just a
story, its not like he really likes me or
anything.' I thought. "Yes if you
wouldn't mind." I finally replied. Then
we started to dance. "So how long have
you been with the school?" Brendon asked
me. "I have been here for 2 years, what
about you?" I replied. "Yea same here,
that's right you're in my drama class."
Brendon said. And everyone laughed. "Yes
that's right." I said looking straight
into his eyes. 'I'll never forget this,
even though it's not real.' I
thought. "Follow me I need to talk to
you." Brendon said and took me
outside. "So what do you want to talk to
me about?" I asked him. "Well..." He
started to say and then he kissed my
hand. "I have never met such a beautiful
girl like you Kayla, will you go out with
me?" He finally said. 'Oh my god, oh my
god, wait its not real remember, GET A
GRIP WILL YOU.' I thought to
myself. "Yes, yes I will." I said hugging
him, suddenly he placed his finger
underneath my chin and lifted my head.
There was a pause for a moment then, he
kissed me. 'He's kissing me, I wish that
this moment would never end, yet it's
only a play so.' I thought sadly.
Suddenly everyone was clapping and we
were still kissing. "Thank you very much
for that wonderful play Brendon and
Kayla." Mrs Howe said to us, by the time
he said that we had stopped kissing. We
both bowed and walked off stage. After
class he came up to me and said "We did a
nice job today." I nodded and said, "Yea
we did, and I have to say that to say
that you're a good kisser not that it
meant anything to me". 'Because I know
that you don't like me so.' I
thought. "Yea so are you." Brendon
replied and kissed me on the cheek and
left. 'Wow I wonder what that was for.' I
thought as I walked to the library.
Suddenly I heard my phone go
off. "Hello." I said. "Hey Kayla its
Jess, can you start work earlier today
its just that I have family problems at
the moment." Jess said. "Yes of course I
can." I replied as I walked over to a
computer and logged in. Jess
replied "Thank you very much, ok see you
at work bye." "Ok see you later." I said
and closed my phone. 'I better finish my
It assignment before Miss Clark asks for
them. After school finished I rode home
and got changed into my work uniform and
left for work. 'Crap I forgot to leave a
note for mum to tell her that I got
called in earlier.' I thought. When I got
to work I clocked in and left a message
on the home phone. "Hi, how may I help
you today?" I asked answering the
phone. "Yes I would like to know if you
have the next issue of PC User?" The
woman asked. "Yes we do, would you like
us to hold a copy of it for you?" I
answered. "Yes please, my son will be
coming to pick it up." The woman
replied. "And what name is that under?" I
asked. "Can you put it under Kelly?" The
woman asked. "Yes we can." I said as I
put a copy of PC User aside under the
name Kelly, "There you go, have a nice
day" I said and the woman thanked me and
hung up. "Kayla were out of Dolly
magazines, can you please put more in?"
Sammy asked me as she walked up to the
counter and I nodded and walked out the
back and grabbed them and placed them
where they had to go. When I was walking
back to the counter I ran into
someone. "I'm so sorry I should've been
watching where I was going." I said as I
rubbed my head. "No don't worry about it
please grab my hand." Said the person I
ran into. 'Wow he sounds like someone I
know.' I thought to myself and then I
grabbed his hand and he helped me up.
When I saw his face I knew who it
was. "Morgan its only you." I said
dryly. "Well don't thank me or anything."
He said back. I walked off to the
counter. "Look I here to get the PC User
my mum asked for." He said as he followed
me. "Fine name please." I said getting
impatient. "Kelly." He replied and
grabbed it. "Here." I said handing it to
him then he left. 'How rude.' I thought
angrily. After I finished work I was
walking home when suddenly I was grabbed
from behind. "Don't worry this will be
painless I promise you." Said the guy
that grabbed me. "Now energy absorb, for
queen Carriea and for the negasis!" He
yelled and then al of suddenly I was
feeling weaker and weaker by the
minute. "Please stop, who are you?" I
asked. "I'm Slaker now shut up." Slaker
said and held me
tighter. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" I yelled
out in pain. "What's going on you should
be drained." Slaker said startled.
Suddenly I was glowing yellow and in the
air. "You can't drain me, the power of
light runs through my body, and finally I
have released." I said. 'What am I
saying?' I thought. "LIGHT!" I yelled out
and suddenly I was in a strange
uniform. "Its time that you leave and
never return." I said and pointed to
him. "Never, the negasis will prevail."
Slaker said. "Lightning Bolt!" I yelled
and suddenly a Lightning Bolt appeared
for my hand. "SHOCK!" I yelled and
pointed my hand towards Slaker. "And I
don't miss." I replied as it hit him and
he fell to the ground. "We will meet
again Light." He said and suddenly he
disappeared. "What's going on, who am I?"
I said. As I started to walk off my
uniform zapped off, suddenly I was back
in my work clothes. 'Please won't someone
tell me who I am.' I thought as I walked
home.
